New years resolutions

I honestly believe that new year's resolutions are nonsense. You shouldn't be needing new year's resolutions in order to make changes to particular things yourself. We all know nobody lives by them in the end anyway. Just set targets for self-improvement if needed throughout the year, no need to necessarily do this at the beginning of the new year because a lot of people do this by means of 'new year resolutions'. No need to be a sheep and follow the herd :boge:.

Do you guys have any new years resolutions for 2021 other than the basic things that most people should do anyways like doing more sports, being more productive or being less of an asshole?

Smoking good kush and alcohol.

That's a pretty pessimistic POV

IMO resolutions isn't just "I will do X or Y", but there's always more context to it. One of my friends told me that what he does is reflect on the past year, look at things that went well, things that didn't go well. Look at what he promised himself last year, see what went wrong and tries to come up with ways to do things better. I mean just like in our working life, it's what you make of it. Imo it's not bad to have a fixed moment in the year where you have to stand still and not only look backward but also forward. But I might sound like a sheep now
