OSBOT Setup Questions

Bot setup questions

Hey guys, new guy here.

I've been playing osrs since 2017/18, I barely played it. Lvl 20 attack, 21 strength, 27 mining, everything else under 10. I'm new to this, so I have no idea on how to get started. My account has been used over the past few days a binch. I have a few questions on this. Answer in 1,2,3 format please.

1. How can I set this up so I can farm attack/strength and others efficiently without looking shady and bannable. How long can I keep it running?

2. Could someone send me a 10hr screenrecording, so I can see how it works.

3. What results have you guys gotten from this? As in, your experience, and how much resources you have gained in a bot session.

Answers are most likely out there, but there's a huge variety, and I'm not willing to take chances by making a silly mistake and getting my account suspended.

Thanks guys.

1. Bot in moderation. Don't keep it going for too long

2. "How it works". You didn't specify what script you're gonna use.

3. Again. Can't answer without more details as to what script

Oh thanks!!

I shall be more clear.

1. How many hours a day, on and off.

2. Could someone send a screen recording of leveling up attacking or strength?

3. Not sure about "what script", as I don't know the specific names. But a generic attacking/strength session.

4. I remember hearing my brother telling in 2011 that rs is insanely hard to cheat on. Is it worth it in this day and age? Since their systems have only gotten better since then

Thanks, appreciate it.

1. Usually dont bot more than you'd manage manually, take breaks every 30-90 mins.

If youre doing combat, try botting some slayer tasks every now and then, switch up what npc  and locations of them.

I highly suggest investing some money in a script that suits your needs, for combat - get a fighter?

Remember to check on forums before starting a scipt, see if its up to date.

-Sometimes scripter must update too when RuneScape updates.

2. As to what scripts,

- Decide what you wanna bot mainly, then research on this forum.

All paid scripts on here are solid, so I dont overthink it.

3. There are a few setup tutorials on this forum if you look for it

Best of luck!

Ok cool thanks!

1. I didn't understand "switch up what npc  and locations of them."

2.  Are the bots/scripts on here really worth it? As in, you can get banned for it. I need some reassurance I guess lol.

3. Could you link me to some tutorials which cover most things, like, where to start and who to trust on here.

4.  How does OSbot fair to Advertising other bots isn't allowed.? I've heard that they are great too. But decided to come here.

Thanks!!

OSBot is the best, the scripts this site offer are superb.

What i mean by switching up NPC is, dont kill cows from 3-126 combat.

Go do a search in youtube: scripting to max,  or botting to max. Theres alot of videos that explains and gives a good go-to on how to bot succesfully.

And yes you can be banned using bots, obviously..

Just dont overdo it, going on for hours botting withour breaks , etc..

Oh okay cool!! How many hrs a day would you recommend of usage?

Would I have to pay for one? I'm slim for money, so are there any good free ones? Thanks mate, appreciate it.

Id suggest you start off with 2 accounts, one you may bot more (test subject)

And one you bot safer, I personaly dont bot more than 8-9 hours a day, some days I dont even log into the main account.

See what works.

Also, having membership ingame seems to lower ban rate ALOT.

Good luck

Thanks for this information. What scripts would you recommend, that are free? Since there's such a wide variety. Thanks

Try them all out?

Baby sit them in the beginning to see how they perform.'

-Then choose the one you like.

Try them all out? Is that a wise thing to do? Are the paid scripts better than the free ones? Since the paid ones are more rare and less seen in servers I guess?

What would you recommend?

Thanks.
