I recently bought a Threadripper 2 2950X, and I wouldn't trade it for any Intel-equivalent CPU. Highly recommend anyone to look into AMD, even stocks, they're doing big, BIG things. i like dogs Posted December 7, 2018 Share Posted December 7, 2018 I'm a fan of AMD, they are the king of price/performance. AMD is kicking obvious ass in the CPU department, Intel had to respond to the EPYC and Threadripper SKUs with the i9s and they were proved to be marginally better for an exponential cost increase.
