Hey guys so im wanting to create a pc for botting (please no comments about just use a dedi/vps i know this is a longterm investment and i am okay with this)

So currently im planning on using ddr3 ram due to price diffrence between the dd4  and me having a few sticks left from upgrading my pc but this leaves me with a few less choices in terms of motherboards/proccessors

so the questions i have currently are

1. what in your opininons is a good proccesor + motherboard for this  price vs performance is ofcourse very inportant

2. Intel vs amd

3. Lots of cores or a few good cores

4. any other suggestions?

any help is greatly appriciated if you have any information you need from me to be able to anser these questions let me know

First of all, how many bots do you plan on running?

I can run 4 bots fine on an old Dell Optiplex with an i3 and 4GB ddr3

What ever is best possible im planning on making a massive botfarm parts Wil be bought with profit from my current pc and laptop (il buy the parts separately no premade builds)

Got 2x8 and 2x4gb sticks atm but planning on buying more

Massive hmm

Ryzen CPUs are better for multitasking so I suppose those would be your best option but don't take my word for it. You'll also need a cheap gpu because they don't have integrated graphics

Yea how cheap is enough i woudnt wanna go cheapest possible but any good suggestions are appreciated

Assume unlimited budget as long as price vs performance is acceptable

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor  ($175.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($19.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: MSI - X370 GAMING PRO CARBON ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($149.00 @ B&H)
Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  ($194.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($43.90 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition Video Card  ($449.99 @ B&H)
Case: NZXT - S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($73.98 @ Newegg Business)
Total: $1157.63

Price vs performance setup.

GPU can be even a 1050ti or 1060 if you do not play other games.
SDD can also be used however does not affect botting experience.
Ram can be increased to 32gb if you need to.
