XRP is going to surpass Bitcoin for the number 1 spot within 3 months, mark my words.  Once the Western Union deal is publicized XRP will take their rightful spot as the #1 crypto.  I'm not one to make price predictions but it doesn't take a genius to see the team behind XRP is incredible and they are actually providing an important and viable service that could take over SWIFT.

XRP = cryptocurrency (some would argue it's not) that has fast transactions

Ripple = company offering a protocol to banks for fast + minimal fee money transfers

Neither is dependent on the other. Their own website promotional video doesn't even discuss XRP. Dumb money can keep pumping the price for smart money to dump on, it's brilliant.
