Buying MacBook Pro

Only buy a Mac if you enjoy using the Mac OS. Otherwise do what other people are saying and pick a better option.

My $0.02: Get the i5/8GB. Most software does not use simultaneous multithreading, so the i7 is not necessary. If you like having leaving all of your tabs open, run many bots, or run virtual machines then it might be worth upgrading to 16GB.

I'l sell you my 7yr old hp laptop with 8gb ram and i5 for 200 ;)

Works fine! :boge:

Seriously just look at Microsoft or anything then Mac, unless you want to sit at Starbucks all day on their Wi-Fi, there's no need to be flashy with a Mac

You can get MUCH better with a 600-800$ laptop then you could with a Mac equivalent within the same price range

its a lovely laptop for day to day use but terrible for gaming

dont pay the extra for the processing power because the cooling wont keep up.
