  2. Hello community, I'm currently debugging as to why the walking on OSBot has stopped working. The fix containing the patch should be released sometime today. Sorry for the inconvenience! Sincerely, Laz and the OSBot Team. EDIT: The problem has been identified. The interface callback injector has been broken. This is the second time its broken and it will be patched to not break again with similar updates. Please be patient, a patch should be released very soon!

  3. Great thread dude, I bet Jagex is gonna' ban-hammer us on the spot as soon as we hit play. WTF Are you talkign about? They've been fuckign us up for the past few months now tbh. I mean we've found ways around them and snuck aroudn their backs but they know how to catch us and this last month (Especially 2 weeks) have been especially harsh on bans.I'm running 1 account on a fresh IP playign it legit alto and usign misccellanious good scripts and still getting temp banned within 1-2 days of botting. Until OSbot starts taking Jagex's detection systems more seriously and coming up with a way to combat them we shouldn't be acting like JaGex isn't winning. Here's my questions: - What are we doing about these bans? - Are our customers (VIP's, script purchasers) Happy with the life-span of their accounts? We just need to make this a priority within our community and focus on fixing it. MAybe even make a section under community or programming.

  5. Hello community, because OSBot 2 has not reached our standard as of yet. I've decided to change it's development strategy. Here are the list of changes that I am planning: Revamped event system for increased performance and stability Open-sourced API available to everyone for faster bug-fixes and feature implementation Open-sourced random event solvers for better random event support Other various API changes/enhancements/implementations Improved camera functions Improved walking functions Proxy support Although we'd love to release the open-source API now, it's going to take some time to restructure the bot into two separate modules (one open-source, and another closed-source). This isn't going to take too long though, I expect all these changes to be implemented within at least two weeks. Beware, the API changes might cause any current OSBot 2 scripts (if they even exist) to break. We're taking advantage of the fact that barely any scripts have been written to implement these enhancements. Hopefully with our new, future open-source model, OSBot will excel in development and features. Thanks, Sincerely, Laz and the OSBot Team.

  6. To my understanding, he's been busy with exams, so he hasn't had time to update his scripts. You verbally abused him, so I wouldn't expect anything less.

  7. So after being in the trading market for a few months I noticed a big problem that gold sellers are constantly afraid of. Charge Backs!!! Now there are many ways to prevent this, but in most cases the gold seller will ask the buyer to send them a irl ID confirming that they have access to the PayPal and that is in fact not hacked. Unfortunately a lot of people are afraid of Identity theft and refuse to give their ID out to anyone. So heres an Idea I came up with, I doubt it will ever actually be used but its an idea. Rather than having each individual gold mercher/seller have their customers verify their paypal for the first time. If OSbot had a paypal verification system, as long as they use the same e-mail linked to their osbot account to make payment you know its already been verified that they are the rightful owner of the paypal. Then you can check their feedbacks to see if they are charging back or not. I feel people would be much more comfortable sending their licences to an admin on OSbot to verify their paypal than someone like me. Once again this is just a thought, but I feel like it will eliminate chargebacks for the most part, and make it very easy for people to know if it's actually their paypal or not.

  10. I do believe that there needs to be a change in requirements for scripters though, it should be more strict like competitor communities in order to ensure higher quality scripts.

  12. Guess I'm rewriting my osbot2 script. :P I'm kind of excited for open source. I think it will not only benefit osbot, but it will benefit a lot of the scripters to look at code professional programmers are writing.

  13. That's fine, but people are asking for answers to questions that cannot be answered accurately by non-Jagex members. All of the answers are completely misguided and continues to perpetuate myths. It's like hunting for witches or looking for bigfoot. @Eliot - Using OSBot as the basis for their bans is a completely different story. Their questions should be more along the lines of "Why does Injection get me more bans than Color" or "Does reflection improve ban rates".

  24. Wrong, paypal balance payments are most risky. They're the most common cause of mass fraud, let me explain.. Chargebacker A and Chargebacker B hack paypal accounts, chargebacker A sends chargebacker B a large sum of money to his legitimate paypal account (so he wouldn't have a problem with passing most gold sellers ID request checks). Chargebacker B's job is then to spend as much of that money on gold . Example: After Chargebacker B spends all the funds from his Paypal balance, it's usually at that time the first payment that Chargebacker A sent is chargeback. there maybe multiple payments that Chargebacker A sends (they're refereed to as a 'Sender' and Chargebacker B is called the 'Holder') - Paypal then wants to cover themselves and cover Chargebacker B's negative balance and holds all Chargebacker B's out going payments (payments he's sent to buy gold) These types of chargebacks come up as 'Inquiry by Pay-Pay' Eventually Chargebacker B's payments will be returned to him, this then covers Chargebacker B's negative balance, but leaves him with x amount of gold that he sells for 'pure profit' 99% of the time, you will lose chargeback cases - even with ID/Proof of Address. The way we prevent these mass fraudulent payments is, requesting ID (as we do with every paypal transaction) and if they're a new customer - we ask for their paypal payment history. If there is a large sum of money going in and out of his account as seen in the first image that is a INSTANT refund no questions asked. Lastly, we make sure most bulk buyers have a confirmed paypal address, Non-confirmed: Confirmed: What them having a confirmed paypal address means, that we could send them a letter as long as it's TRACKED AND SIGNED for and win any unauthorized case. Aslong as their payment is NOT a gift, and their address is CONFIRMED. So sorry, but no support since requesting ID from someone does not stop chargebacks and it would lead to a large number of fraudulent payments and confusion with people thinking they're going to be covered in the event of a chargeback, which with having ID alone will not do. sorry for the novel but I thought I'd share with you the common myths when it comes to paypal
